Rylee Anne turned 1 (;

Rylee Anne did it! She made it to the one year mark. Way to go, little 'Roo! She isn't walking, but in the last week alone, she has gone from tummy crawling, to pulling to a stand and walking when holding your hands.. so.. who knows? Maybe it's just a week away! (; We did the smash cake a few days before, so she didn't really get her first cake on her actual birthday. But she enjoyed this one none the less! Paetin and Camy were both so excited to sing "Happy Birthday" to their little sister, and Rylee's face lit up with joy at the whole scenario.  I'm just thrilled that Eddy got to be there for both the smash, and her actual Birthday.<3

As usual, we got her earrings. What better way to turn one than with some real bling? (; We did an ice cream cake again, since we are not big cake people.. and again, it was a hit! It got messier than messy, and was tasty for everyone to enjoy! Rylee was even disappointed when there was nothing left for her to scrape up off her plate! And since it was ice cream.. and had blue, that's right, they wore their Birthday suits! The girls were not trusted wearing fabric at the table with this mess! And good call too! (; Eddy thought they'd be stained for a couple of days, but nothing like a nice warm bath to keep you from looking like a star in Aavatar. (;
Rylee has got to be the absolute sweetest baby girl I have ever met. She is so happy all the time, and just a joy to be around. She always makes everyone smile, and not one person doesn't ask to hold her when they see her. I can't wait to see how she develops and personally changes our family from here on out. It is so hard to believe that she entered our family a year ago already, but I know we wouldn't feel complete without her.<3 Happy Birthday, lil' Roo!<3
