Mr.& Mrs. Claus and Snow Balls. (;

Dec. 1st, 2012 our neighborhood block watch hosted a "Winter Wonderland" at the park behind our house. The talk of the week was the 20 TONS of snow that they were to have! Oh man, we were so excited! I mean . . Santa, SNOW, and hot cocoa sounded just about right to get us into the Holiday Spirit. (: Let's be honest, Arizona isn't exactly known for it's overabundance of Christmas "demeanor". (;

Well.. the day of came about and as we're walking to the park, there is a large group of children. I mean really you can only tell that they are children by movement and screams of delight.. other than that they looked like over dressed, and fully jacket wearing maggots. They were literally on top of one another... needless to say, that is where the snow was. And 20 tons?!? More like TWO! It turned out that the snow machine had broken, and the guy said he'd fix it and be back.. but really, 11:30 came, the event was wrapping up, and he still wasn't answering his phone. But in AZ, even two tons of snow it great joy to a neighborhood full of kids! (: Paetin got a nice little welt on her cheek from taking a snow ball hit to the face, but that didn't stop her from sluggin' a few kids and going back for more! Ha!
There was Santa's train ride, and after Cameryn's freak out of the hay ride at Halloween (just from the hay truck moving, let alone anything else) I was rather skeptical about this one.. so I climb on into the train cart with her and Paetin, and a little girl I didn't know, and watched as all three of my girls giggled and laughed the whole darn ride! They had a wonderful time! There was a bit of a freak out.. about 30 or so minutes after the start, a mom couldn't find her little girl. Well, Jon to the rescue, he know how to get everyone's attention. Not even a snowball moved while he had the mic. Well, remember that little girl I didn't know that I sat next to? Well, hello missing lady!! I'm so glad that she was returned to her very pregnant, and worried mum with no issues! I know I'd be a super big mess.
Well, the time came to meet Santa. Talk about a big line! Thank goodness they had activity tables along the way! The kids got some cocoa, made some reindeer food, wrote letters to Santa, and went crazy with some sidewalk chalk. Then our big moment was there! Paetin couldn't wait to ask the jolly cute Santa for a trampoline! Camy climbed right up on his lap, and was ready for a nap! I mean, really, there was no moving that girl once she was there! (; And Rylee, well, let's just say she was the classic "don't let that fat man touch me" baby! (; It was great fun though, and I'm so glad we were able to go! Paetin is keeping her fingers crossed, and playing extra nice for that trampoline! (:
