A Day at Sea World!

Sea World has to be my personal favorite theme park! I always have so much fun there considering that is by no means, the biggest park. Always a great time to be had! We met Eddy's grandma, Barb at opening time, and spent some time with her, before she headed home. I mean, she does work there so it can't be all that much fun spending your days off there. But it was really nice to spend some time with her, since we don't see her often. She went to the new Shamu show with us. Paetin had such a hoot there! At this show, they have all the kids come down to the front to "call" Shamu to splash you, and man oh man, did she get soaked! (:

My parents took the girls to the Sesame Street play park so that Eddy and I could go ride the new roller coaster, Manta. We had a great time, but the kids had an even better one! Papa even went on rides with them! (: Paetin, shockingly, was even willing to get pictures taken with the characters, and even hugged them! I don't know about your kids, but she has NEVER done well with mascot people, so this was really kinda cool, since my mom said she didn't even need prompting. Of course after this, she was up in the rope nets and rarely seen except when she had to come out to go back up. (: She met a boy in line for the bounce house, and as I hear, he wasn't very nice to her. By the time they came out of the bounce house, he was asking her not to leave with us, cuz he had fallen madly in love with her. All I have to say is,"Watch out Eddy, she is only 5!!" 

Camy had a really fun time too. That is, as long as she had control of one of the drinking cups!! She wasn't big enough to go on the Atlantis roller coaster, so letting her walk around, and have a frozen lemonade access at all times, definitely made her day enjoyable. (: She really enjoyed the sting rays, but not so much the tide pools like I thought she would. We did catch the Summer Cirque De La Mar show, and that was pretty entertaining for all of us. Even though Paetin said she didn't like it or want to be there, she sure couldn't keep her eyes off of the performers. (;

Trying to think of what else we did. . Paetin drug us on the Ship Wreck river ride over and over.. talk about a cold evening! I was freezing, and extremely wet by the time we were done with that one! And of course she just took me right back over to Atlantis! We caught the evening Sea Lion show. Their show is always my favorite, but I have to say, if you've never seen their evening performances, you need to! It was hilarious! (:  We caught the roller coaster a few more times and were good to go. And since we'd stayed till closing, there was even a firework show to send us on our way. (; We had a very full day. And I'll tell you, I can't wait to go back in October, might even have to go twice since we have season passes!! (:
