Meeting Santa, Take: 2!

Last  year the girls both met Santa for the first time. I have to say, it was a rather smooth experience. I had to bribe Paetin to hug him, and Camy cried the whole time, but none the less, it went okay. So much so, that this year, Paetin couldn't wait to meet him again!! So we decided to head to the park of lights and hop on his train, and say hello. Now if only it were that smooth right? Of course it wasn't! The line that seemed short enough took an hour and a half to get through, and might I say, with five kids (my brother's family was there as well) a long line in a windowless train, is hot, and exhausting! But alas, we made it through, and once again, my girls met the big jolly man of Santa. (:
Paetin had been waiting and waiting to meet him, and to show her the elf hats that her and Cameryn had, cause, surely they are Satna's helpers. Especially after meeting his fuzzy covered elf friends on the train, she was much more excited to show him how she fit in. (: Though of course she wouldn't sit on his lap it still went just fine. She sat next to him and talked to him and even gave him a hug and smooch goodbye, telling him he had to fly with his reindeer when he left. (: Cameryn on the other hand, wanted, once again, nothing to do with the man with the large beard and red suit! She did everything she could not to touch him, but of course the evil parents that we are, we set her on his lap anyways! She'll thank us for it one day. (: At least I believe so.
Since we were at the train park, they had train rides with lots of lights and tunnels.. . but we were late and the line was about two hours long, so we just walked along and looked at the lights. Met Frosty, saw the big pretty trees, and played around. Robbie had just gotten into town so he was there with us and smiling as much as you can after waiting in such a long line, on a small train, with your friends' kids. LoL. But he was a great sport and didn't complain about our fictional adventure. (: Fun was had, Santa was met, and kids slept on the way home. Good trip if you ask me. (:
