Edward's Grandparents came down for Thanksgiving! It was such a treat to have them! They came down Monday night, && left Friday morning! We did crafts, hung out, cooked && of course, snuggled up with Paetin Leigh && Cameryn Raye!They had to drive in through the snow from Washington, but even though it was almost a three day trip for them, Nana was no where near too tired for Cameryn! They snuggled && smiled away almost instantly! When Edward got home from work, tears of joy came for the reunion! Such a sweet thing! I wish that we were closer so it wasn't such a big things, we could see each other all of the time, instead of once a year.
Their first morning there was no time wasted! Nana snuggled with Cameryn first thing, then after breakfast it was time to color with Paetin. She really loved having both of them at the table with her, especially when Grandpa picked up some crayons! It was absolutely adorable!!We got to making hair clips for the girls. They were adorable, && of course fun to put together! Cameryn just loved them.. LoL.. as much as a two month old loves things. Grandpa was a great help! He twirled curly korkers with Paetin, and was even a great model!
Grandpa and Nana got lots of time to love the girls! From holding Cameryn, to playing with Paetin && her new babies, it was fun. The girls both got lots of attention from their greats! It was such a treasure to have them here!
Then of course, it was Thanksgiving so we had lots of cooking to do! Paetin helped Nana get some of the salads done! She LOVES to cook! Cameryn got to participate as well! Only Mommy would do so we moby wrapped it up in the kitchen to get things done! She enjoyed being able to see everything we were doing, && also got a couple naps in there! <3 I can't wait to be able to see them again! <3
Nana helped me make a new high chair cover for my high chair.. but really, Nana made it on her own. She's a champ like that! We kept it neutral since we are wanting another little Baby-Po to add to the clan, beats having to do it again! Even though it might be fun! We were busy, and the trip was definitely too short! But we are so glad && thankful that they came down! It meant a lot to us! Hopefully we'll be able to see them again soon, though we know it won't be soon enough! <3
I love that they were able to come down and visit! I'm more than a little envious of it, but so glad that Eddy had them there for Thanksgiving! I know they had a ball visiting with you all and playing with the girls! The bows sure look like a lot of fun, the high chair cover turned out terrific, and I'm sure Paety and Nana had fun in the kitchen! <3
